Fruit Flower Arrangement

I saw this idea in a magazine. It was just a pictures so I have no idea how they did it but I'll share how I did.

Supplies Needed:

Fruit (I used strawberries, grapes, cantelope)

Skewers (I used wooden ones that I found at Wal-Mart in the grilling section)

Cookie cutters

Flower pot

Directions:
(1) Load up a few skewers with grapes--the more the merrier

(2) Load up some skewers with a strawberry (place upside down)

(3) Use cookie cutter to cut out shapes-I used flowers and stars and also spelled out DAD (it was for Fathers Day)

(4) Place all the skewers in basket. Arrange them however you want to make it look pretty

Notes: Other fruit ideas--watermelon, honey doo, apples etc. If I had to do this again I would have done MORE skewers so that the pot looked more full! Also, be sure to cut the skewers to different lengths so the flowers are on different levels!
