Small potting plant (the cheap kind from Wal-Mart)
Bouquet of fake flowers (whichever you like)
Package of regular "Bic" pens
Green plant tape (found in the craft section at Wal-Mart)
Acrylic paint-color should match bouquet of flowers
Foam paint brush
Bag of Pinto beans
Pliers
Directions:
1. Begin by painting the pot. Using the foam paint brush, paint the pot as many times as you like in order to achieve desired color-allow sufficient time to dry. You can decorate the pot in any way you want-plain, stripes, flowers etc.
2. Meanwhile use pliers to gently squeeze the bottoms of the "Bic" pens. Remove pen caps
3. Starting at either end of pen, start wrapping the green plant tape around the pen, overlapping each layer
4. Cut flowers off of bouquet (be sure to include a long stem with each flower)
5. Stick flower stem down inside of pen. Flower head should rest on top of pen hole (You may want to apply a small amount of hot glue around the top edge of the pen in order to secure the flower)
