Supplies:
Roll of toilet paper (one for each pumpkin)
1/4 yard festive fabric (1/4=1 pumpkin)
Brown felt
Green pipecleaners
Hot glue gun
Directions:
1. Begin by placing the fabric, right side down, on a table
2. Place roll of toilet paper in center of fabric
3. Begin pulling sides of fabric up around toilet paper and tucking into the top hole
Note: be sure to pull and tuck TIGHTLY!
Continue tucking until all fabric is tucked inside hole
4. Cut felt between 2"-4" by 4"
5. Cut a pipecleaner to fit the length you have picked (I doubled the pipeclearn to allow for a
more pliable stem)
6. Place pipecleaner at one end of felt and begin rolling felt around it until felt is completely rolled.
7. Line the opposite end of felt with hot glue and then seal stem shut.
8. Stick stem into top hole. (I removed the last little bit of fabric, stuck the stem in and tucked fabric around the stem; this seemed to make it more secure)
9. For a finishing touch, take more green pipe cleaner and twirl it around the stem to create the pumpkin"vines"
The End Result!
Note: This idea was originally seen in a magazine and has been tweeked a little bit, but I think it works!
