I wanted to do some "home made" gifts for our family gift exchanges this year. Both families that we had (Petersens and DeMoss) have little girls in their families and I had found this cute "pattern" on line. Since I don't have any girls it is always fun to have an excuse to make something cute and girly. I made these skirts for each of my nieces and I really like how they turned out!

Awesome! I once had a work friend correct me when I said that loved to make home-made gifts. She told me that "hand-made" was a better term to describe them. I guess it means that hand-made implies a more positive tone? Who knows? Those look wonderful!
